Today's Table (In the Works)

We've been busy this past couple of weeks, and today's worktable has all sorts of beasties clamoring for my attention. Got several new designs in the works, along with a few commissioned pieces and this week's made-to-orders.

Also took a bit of time this week to design a logo for Jim and Amy's (our bestest friends) new food cart that they're making from scratch. Food carts have quite the following here in Portland, and theirs promises to be a good one. If you're interested in the process, you can see their progress on Jim's brand new blog.

They're gonna be serving Amy's unique take on traditional southern
and Cajun cuisine. What your favorite kind of food?

  1. ...Oh the bear with the banjo is to die for! And I love the goggles on the, pumpkin? And I also love how you have everything methodically laid out. So neat, so precise. ;o)

...Love the logo too! You are so multi-talented it's unreal! To think that there's people out there walkin' around with zero talent because you got it all...lol ;o)

    ...Have an awesome weekend!

    ...Blessings :o)

  6. I'm jumping right ON the 'I love that bear & pumpkin' bandwagon! Well, actually I love EVERYTHING, but those stand out!!! And we are soooooo boring here in H-Town. LOADS of food trucks - pretty much all Mexican food. It gets boring! So I vote for the Cajun/Southern cuisine! YUM! As for me, my fave food may freak you out: West African! My mouth is watering just THINKING about it. I cook it but it's way too hot to make it in this weather!

  8. As always, your work is just amazing! I was married to a Southerner for many years and was introduced to the wonders of bacon fat!! LOL I could never quite get the hang of gravy, but then, I'm not a big fan of gravy, but homemade biscuits with fresh butter and honey, strictly delightful.

As for my favorite types of food, well, being of Mexican descent, I have to favor that cuisine since I grew up with it, but I think I was Italian, Chinese and Thai in another life!! LOL

Have a great weekend and keep the creativity momentum going.
