Wednesday's Table

Halfway through the week.
Everybody's got their base paint on, a big pieced skirt has been sewn, and a pointy hat is coming along nicely. Now it's time to stain and sculpt. I've got an armature well underway, waiting till after dinner to get it's face.
My list is written in pencil,
a subtle reminder that plans can be changed easily enough.

I set myself a little challenge for the week to do a post
everyday, showing day-to-day progress
(or lack thereof, as the case may be).
So far so good.

This is just plain silly fun.
Go here to make your own.

Happy Wednesday!
Hope your challenges are being met,
and your obligations are written in pencil.

  1. You are such a silly heart...Somedays your post is the highlight of my day. (Yes, my life is that pathetic) You always put a smile on my face.

  2. That was fun--I put a picture of a bunch of lawn gnomes with people sitting at a bench and looking up at it. Hee hee. Thanks for the laughs--and the advice. I don't write in pencil, but I type it up (easier to hit "delete")

  4. Oh My I so love looking at your works in progress. All of the little pieces stuffed and marked, ready to be painted and connected into a person. How special is that? I so love it. I can't wait to see them all pieced together. Pieces of eight (as they are gold pieces together). Love it. Please stop by and say hi. I would so love it if you do. Thanks for sharing this beautiful day. Country hugs, Sherry

  6. Wednesday child may be full of woe ...but Wednesday's table is full of...JO!
    Sorry, I couldn't resist:)
I have a terrible time keeping up with blogging. It seems to take so much from my art time. Kudos to you for challenging yourself this way and showing that the art still gets made!

  7. I have been having problems with organization lately. Do you always do large batches of dolls and assign days to complete certain tasks?

For instance, Monday sketch and cut
    Tuesday-sew, stuff, prep
    Wed.-base coats

Or is it whatever suits your fancy in the moment?

I think the fact that sometimes I am working with wool and fabric and others I am working with paper clay and polymer may also be part of the problem.

Just curious. LOVE all of your work.
