Wings and Things

Here's what my work table had on it by Thursday-
It seems to be a week of wings. 6 of them, to be precise.
I had particular fun with this beastie-
It's the latest in my Househead series.
OK, this one's head isn't a house.
Guess I'll have to change what I'm calling the series.
How about Living Houses?
(I can change names of stuff whenever I like on account of they really only exist in my brain.)
Anyway, here's what Birdhouse looked like by Saturday-
Don't ya just love those birdy feet??
Now I wanna give everybody bird feet!
You can see more of her HERE.
And now, ladies and gentlemen, for your reading enjoyment. . .
What's the difference between a bird and a fly?
A bird can fly but a fly can't bird.
. . . . . . . . .
Thanks for coming out!
You've been great!
Remember to tip your waiters.

  1. You are an absolute cracker. Don't think I won't be repeating that joke twenty times today. And as far as series naming goes - I'm thinking it's all about post rationalisation.

  11. Jo,
What a wonderful Bird especially those feet. Of course you can name the art anything you like. I find that so refreshing. Not to mention the freedom that comes from making my own bird species. Such fun.

  12. Badum-cha! Sloan will love this joke.

P.S. Little Miss Ridinghood is taking a little longer to get to your house. Please don't give up on her. She should be heading your way very soon :)
