Today's Table

Lots of starts on today's worktable, including the beginnings of 5 new designs and the last of 2 other designs. That two-headed rabbit is the last of its kind as well. And there's a welcome new addition to the table! I took the frame off of a big old white board that was hiding out in the garage, and now I have a new shiny clean surface to mess up. It's much easier to clean than the wooden table top (which was getting quite battered), plus it helps add a bit of much needed light to my space. Yay!
I've been spending an inordinate amount of time away from my worktable this week and on the computer. I'm trying to get a bunch of 2-D stuff (which I'm super excited about) ready for the print shop, but yesterday was a mess of annoying technical errors, glitchy glitches, and wrong formats that had me in a pissy mood for most of the day. I finally just had to take a nap and declare a do-over! So we'll head back to the printer again on Monday. In the meantime,  I'm happy to be back in the studio where there are no jpgs, gifs, tifs, or pdfs (just the occasional wtf when I inevitably drop something).

  2. I have to ask, HOW do you keep your work table so clean and uncluttered?! Mine is always an unholy mess... Yours always impresses me!

I get asked that a lot, Kim.
Maybe I'll do a post about it :)

  5. Ah, I love the conjoined bunny twins. Will you make other conjoined buddies? How fun to have some new designs to work on. Sorry to hear about all the computer glitches. How brave to have another go of it on Monday. Good luck on this second try.
