What is it that I love about your stuff? I can't quite put my finger on it, but I think it is something to do with cohesion or integrity - the designs, the colours, the quirky humour.....all unmistakeably yours. Excuse me please - a couple of glasses of very fine Pinot, make me abnormally loquacious and write things that I normally would not! But I mean them, Pinot notwithstanding. Please note: My spelling has not suffered!
I'm a BIG fox fan! Something about those noses & bushy tails! YOUR foxes are fabulous! Hmmm ... merry & bright ... chubby lil' elves? I LIKE those! LOL! (No, I really DO!) Who, by the way, is carving? Oh, the HAPPY memories that brings me! My grandfather carved/whittled. I can see his long fingers holding the wood & knife, smell the shavings, see his small licorice-colored eyes light up as he looks at his carving & decides it's exactly what he's going for. Thanks for making me remember that this morning. You and Dylan are pure therapy and delight!
...Gosh, I think you and Dylan have covered just about everything, haven't you? I'm with 'Kai' up there regarding the elves, you two would so rock those. And loved 'Susie McMahon's comment up there. She hit the proverbial nail on the head regarding your art being "unmistakably yours". So very true. ;o)
...Christmas Trees? Ooo, a Cart Before The Horse "Nativity Scene"! In its entirety! No less. Okay, that last one is my vote. Yep. :o)
Love these!! And how much detail and time consuming! Wonderful pieces!
ReplyDeleteWill certainly check out your shop!
Cheers!

So much fun goes on in your studio! A flock of Christmas cardinals or Jolly Elves with candy cane legs?
ReplyDeleteFat, happy holly berries?
