Can't draw? Sure you can!
I like to try at least one new thing every day. Sometimes it's a new food or recipe. Sometimes a new technique or tool. A new chord on my new ukulele. Or maybe it's a new route when I walk the dogs. Today it's a different scented candle than I usually pick (which is vanilla). It's the little things.
What new thing will you try today?
This may be the single most awesome-est encouragement I've absorbed in some time. I don't know why I need to be reminded that I have permission to play, to try, to give myself a chance... but I do need to be reminded. I still find my heart fluttering, and longing to be *an artist,* but other voices are louder and interfere. Today I will draw birds, thanks to you. And maybe you and I can play ukulele chords, together, some day.
ReplyDeleteawesome step by steps, not sure if it's because I'm just drifting in the collective unconscious but I have birds on the brain, or is it that I'm a bird brain? either way i think I may give these a try in my sketchbook where I plan to do something soon and throughout the year...
ReplyDeleteMy mold making stuff came in the mail today. YEA! so today my new thing will be making molds...I like the idea of trying a new thing every day and am going to see if I can do that for the rest of this year.
ReplyDeleteI have begun learning to quill! It's such fun! And I'm also trying to learn MORE styles of paper creations. It's GOOD to try new things! Keeps us on our toes! HUGS!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for these step-by-step guides on drawing birds! Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI learned how to use our new Epson printer today. Took me several hours to learn all the features...not too exciting, but definitely something I needed to do. LOL
Cool! I hadn't seen the swan before...can't wait to try! When I first had the squirrel "how to" (Graphics Fairy)I left it on the kitchen table...it was a riot seeing what all the members of the family came up with!! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI bought a new flat screen tv? does that count? we snatched up our middle son who knows electronics, and ran off to the store about 15 min before closing. 20 min later, we had a new tv! It was very easy using the younger generation to ask all the questions, and help us decide.
ReplyDeleteI like to try new things each day too. Keeps life exciting. I may make something I've never tried before, or photograph something new. I like to read and cook so there is always something new there. Plus I have a 3 year old grandson, I see something new everyday with him.
ReplyDeleteВы настоящие художники. Поражаюсь, что находите такие интересные образы . Только непонятные для России. Слежу за вашими работами. Очень даже необычными!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!!! I really want to learn to draw this year and this was the best tutorial! Wishing you a beautiful weekend.
