But there WERE SOME that have really stuck in my heart. So much so, that I had to hunt out and buy the dvd of said books. My absolute favourite audio books are all read by a man called Stephen Thorne. The series author is Ellis Peters(also goes by the name Edith Pargeter) The main character is a, would you believe, Benadictine Monk who is a great slueth, and goes by the name of Cadfael. There is another story called 'The Heaven Tree' Trilogy,(The Green Branch/The Heaven Tree/The Scarlet Seed) again, by Edith Pargeter this time. THAT one has stayed deep within my heart. So much so that I will need to buy the thing...as all of these audio books, I have only ever borrowed from the local library.

Love your creative work Jo.
Hope you don't mind, but I embeded your short video of Humpty Dumpty on my blog, for a while.
Thanks for sharing your creative gift.Victoria Sayerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01015227972951118205noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1660448079777823101.post-62069881822393228862011-03-07T14:45:40.772-08:002011-03-07T14:45:40.772-08:00I love listening to Clarisa Pincole Estes (Women w...I love listening to Clarisa Pincole Estes (Women who run with wolves). I'm not sure I spelled her name correctly. She has a series of "fairytales" that are wonderful and her voice is captivating. I love what is on your table. I love books, but have so much to do! I am now thoroughly addicted to audiobooks! I also listen to podcasts, but not as much as the books.
I love to listen to suspense, mystery... Agatha Christie is one of my faves! Also, Dean Koontz! I have all his books on audio now... ; )
Got into the, now popular, urban fantasy too. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the buggy girl! So adorable! And I HAVE to read the 'old-fashioned' way. I'm a book addict. Seriously, Jo. I would choose books over food any day! I read Josefina's comment & will agree with her 100%! I have everything (literally) de Lint has written! He's captivating! Onion Girl happens to be one of my all time favorite books! Another author I adore? Lucia St. Clair Robson! Especially her earliest books such as Ride the Wind! Have a happy week, sweet girl! And is Dylan behaving this week? Actually, I hope NOT 'cause he is hysterically funny to me! I try to find time to make some of my own, but as I work full time, it often takes some time before I can finish them. So many ideas, so little time. LOL
About audiobooks, I'm right now listening to "Onion Girl", by Charles de Lint. I've read many of his books and I love his way to write and the stories he tell. If you haven't read/heard anything by him, I can highly recomend him.

/JosefinaJosefinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01014754674293786161noreply@blogger.com
